Great Bend 7th-graders soar

The Great Bend Middle School 7th-grade boys basketball teams coached by Troy Stein and assisted by Conrad Montoya swept Scott City Monday night. The A team set the pace with a 48-36 win.
Joseph Moeder led the Panthers with 15 points. Sage Koelsch added 13 points and Stefan Spray scored 11 points. The A team (4-5) heads to Garden City to face Horace Good.
The Great Bend B team (4-5) took the momentum and never looked back in a solid 44-10 victory. Josh Bailey and Angel Razo each scored eight points.
