Cougar women go 1-2 against ranked tennis team

PLANO, Texas – Nothing like starting the season off with three ranked opponents.
That was the case for the Barton women’s tennis team this past weekend. The Cougars traveled to Texas to take on three ranked teams at the Collin Super Bash in Plano.
“We didn’t have any tune-up matches for the ladies this year,” Coach Lyle Stickney said. “The Super Bash was baptism by fire. We had three tough matches right out of the gate.
“For our first matches against the competition we face, I’m really encouraged. The entire team played well.”
