The outdoors beckons to us all

Mother Nature has teased us with warm days recently, whetting our appetite for getting outdoors.
Spring is near and with the nice weather we’ve been having, it’s time to think about getting back outside.
But, thanks to video games and other electronic devices, childhood has moved indoors. Sadly, the National Wildlife Federation reports that the average American boy or girl spends as few as 30 minutes in unstructured outdoor play each day, and more than seven hours each day in front of an electronic screen.
