GB Rotarians hold recognition luncheon

Great Bend High School Junior Rotarians and their parents attended the 2017 Junior Rotarian Recognition Luncheon held on May 1, at Stoneridge Country Club. The 16 Junior Rotarians are seniors at GBHS and each of them attended the weekly Rotary club meetings for one month of the school year.
Junior Rotarians Ashtin Heath and Wyatt Rugan were awarded the Junior Rotarian Scholarships for 2017.
The keynote speaker for the event was President and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center Ed O’Malley. O’Malley addressed the need for the students to develop leadership skills in their future endeavors.
