Oklahoma Wesleyan pounded its way to the KCAC Basbell Championshop by beating Tabor College 11-3 in Sunday’s first championship game at the Great Bend Sports Complex. The Eagles led 5-3 and broke loose with six runs in the eighth inning.
Alejandro Hernandez drilled a three-run homer, Chris Acosta-Tapia hit a two-run homer and Trevor Achenbach homered to spark the power-laden Eagles past Tabor College.
Oklahoma Wesleyan (48-9) will host an NAIA Regional May 15-18 at Bartelsville, Okla. and Tabor College (41-15) will host a regional May 15-18 at Hutchinson’s Hobart-Detter Field and Rice Park. Pairings will be released ...
