Derby Twins overpower Bat Cats

The Derby Twins pounded out 11 runs on 14 hits against the Great Bend Bat Cats for an 11-3 series-clinching baseball Jayhawk League baseball victory Thursday at Al Burns Field.
The Bat Cats (6-11) continue a seven-game homestand against the Haysville Aviators (5-12) Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Al Burns Field. The Bats Cats are 2-9 against the top four Jayhawk League teams.
