Bat Cats win Jayhawk League series

Bat Cats move into fifth place

Great Bend Bat Cat Hunter Romero delivered four hits in a 12-6 Jayhawk League baseball victory Saturday over the Haysville Aviators. Romero doubled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the seventh, and doubled in the eighth. The Bats entertain Haysville at 7 p.m. Sunday at Al Burns Field.

The Bat Cats (8-11) won their third series of the summer.
