Hays Larks down Great Bend Bat Cats

Liberal Bee Jays visit Friday

HAYS – The Hays Larks completed winning three of four games with a 6-1 Jayhawk League baseball victory over the Great Bend Bat Cats Thursday. The Bat Cats are 4-14 against the top four Jayhawk League teams.
The Bat Cats (14-16) scored their run on Jordan Wilkerson’s seventh-inning home run that broke up Matt Fish’s no-hitter. The Bats entertain Jayhawk leader Liberal (22-8) starting at 7 p.m. Friday at Al Burns Field. Liberal is a perennial Jayhawk League powerhouse.
