Rain ruins Bat Cats’ night

EL DORADO – Mother Nature conspired to ruin the Bat Cats’ night when the El Dorado Broncos escaped with a rain-shortened 2-1 Jayhawk League victory. The Bat Cats (18-18) are scheduled to return home Friday against Oklahoma City.
El Dorado’s Tanner Schuetz delivered back-to-back game-winning hits with a two-run first inning single after a single and a walk. Brett Bonar’s double scored Jordan Wilkerson in the fourth inning.
