According to the Linguistic Society of America, more than 6,000 different languages are spoken throughout the world, but there are some things that are universal.

"No matter where you live, no matter what language you speak, an amazing friendship always looks the same," according to the introduction to a video posted by SoulPancake.

The video, titled "These Best Friends Will Give You All the Feels," features pairs of best friends from around the world — including Turkey, South Africa, India, South Korea, Brazil, Ethiopia, Mexico, France, the United Kingdom and the United States — and of various ages explaining what they think it means to be a true friend.

Some of the explanations provided went as deep as to say that friendship is a special, unbreakable bond, while others cited shared interests and qualities they admire about their friend.

"Friendship is not a language to learn, but it's like a reaction between two hearts," explains a man from South Africa.

"Having someone to talk to that would actually listen," states a teenage boy from the United States.

"I like when he laughs," a young boy from the United Kingdom said with a smile.
