Suspect charged with first degree attempted murder LARNED —A Larned man has been charged in Pawnee County District Court with first degree attempted murder and other crimes for a March 11 incident in Larned. Clifford Gene Lewis, 54, 614 Tolle, was formerly charged by the Pawnee County attorney for additional counts of aggravated battery, criminal threat and battery.
