Eagles lose final home game

ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood’s Drew Blake scored two touchdowns and offensive lineman Jacob Herrman added a 1-yard touchdown in the Eagles’ 66-18 loss to playoff qualifier Little River in Eight-Man I, District 6. Blake scored on 33- and 50-yard runs.
Ellinwood led 6-0 when the Redskins (6-2, 3-1) scored 46 points, Hunter Thomas rushed for 209 yards and scored three touchdowns. Graham Stephens scored four touchdowns, including the game-ending 32-yard interceptionr return. Ellinwood (1-7, 0-4) plays at Canton-Galva Thursday in the Eagles’ final 8-man game before returning to 11-man football in 2018.
