Retired city administrator honored at meeting

LENEXA – The Kansas Association of City/County Management held its annual conference Nov. 15-17 at Lenexa. Several civic officials were recognized, including retired Great Bend City Administrator Howard Partington who received a Career Achievement Award.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of professional city-county management in Kansas. Nearly 130 city-county management professionals and public administration graduate students attended the conference.
