Otis-Bison boys, girls win games

LANGDON — Otis-Bison’s Maitland Wiltse rescued the Cougars with a dominating 36-point performance in a hard-fought 65-58 victory over Stafford High in the Fairfield Falcon Basketball Classic. Wiltse converted 11 field goals and 12 of 15 free throws. Blakr Bahr added nine points. The Cougars trailed 19-10 in the second period, but Wiltse scored 15 second-quarter points for a 26-23 halftime lead.
Stafford outscored the Cougars 34-22 in the first and third quarters. The No. 3 ranked 1A-Division 2 Cougars (2-0) outscored Stafford 43-24 in the second and fourth periods.
