Larned, Hoisington wrestlers place first

NICKERSON — Larned featured three first-place finishers and Hoisington had two champions in the Central Kansas League junior varsity wrestling tournament.
Larned’s Corbin Weers (113), Hector Garcia (182) and Josh Kramer (182) placed first. Weers won two matches. Kramer pinned five opponents.
Hoisington’s Dante Urban (160, 18-1) and Brayden Copp (195) placed first. Urban pinned five opponents. Copp pinned three foes.
Larned’s Anthony Quintana (106) and Chuck Stucky finished second. Quintana won three of four matches. Stucky finished 1-1.
Cardinals Blake Deines (160), Nicholas Long (170), Bryce Shelor (195) and Cade Boxberger (220) placed second. Deines finished with ...
