Great Bend bowlers barely miss sweep

You knew it was going to be a great day when substitute bowler Dalton Dicks posted Great Bend’s highest score of the day.
Great Bend’s bowlers nearly earned a sweep over Liberal High School with a 10-1 boys victory and an 11-0 sweep by the Panther girls. An appreciative crowd roared its support with well-orchestrated cheers.
“It was a great atmosphere,” said Great Bend coach Mike Perry. “It was great to see so many people supporting Panther bowling.”
Dicks subbed for Panther teammate Cameron Keener at the last minute, and he took advantage with a team high 657 ...
