County Attorney reports on busy week

In a press release issued Monday, Barton County Attorney Amy Mellor said the past week was a busy one for her office:
• Among cases heard on Wednesday, Feb. 7, Iban Martinez Enriquez appeared and entered pleas to separate charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, both felony offenses. In another case, Enriquez entered a plea to and was found guilty of battery, a misdemeanor charge. Sentencing for these cases is set for April.
