Waterline replacement project will begin on Main Street

The on-going waterline replacement project in Great Bend will move to Main Street by week’s end.

 The City of Great Bend Administration and Engineering departments announced Tuesday afternoon the next phase for the on-going waterline replacement project. At the end of this week the work will start on Main Street between 10th to 19th Street.

Construction will continue on Main Street for the next several months, engineering technician Karl Otter said. This project will take place in phases with advance notifications to business and property owners adjacent to the work. Typical construction hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
