No. 1 ranked Hesston beats Oiler tennis

CONWAY SPRINGS — No. 1 ranked 3A Hesston swept past No. 3 ranked Central Plains 7-2 in a Mid-Kansas tennis triangular. Hesston won five of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches to earn the state’s top ranking from the Kansas Tennis Coaches Association.
Hesston’s Logan Gamble downed Devin Ryan 8-4 at No. 1 singles. Central Plains’ Brett Liebl downed Hesston’s Jorge Morales, 8-4 at No. 2 singles. Ryan placed seventh and Gamble finished 2-2 at 3A state singles last year.
