Donate Safe and Nutritious Food for National Food Drive

Editor’s note: Although Linda Beech is writing here about an event that has already occurred, Great Bend Postmaster Travis Trendel said people who were unable to put food donation’s by the mailboxes on Saturday may do so this week. Letter carriers will still pick up donations.

Community food drives provide an important source of food for families trying to make ends meet. They also give neighbors the chance to help neighbors and instill the values of sharing and caring in children.
