JENKS, Okla. — Sam W. Mays, Jr., 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Jenks, Okla., on Sept. 14. He was born in Pryor, Okla., July 6, 1945, the eldest child of Sam W. and Marcine McGouldrick Mays. Sam attended St. Rose Catholic School and graduated from Great Bend High School in 1963. In 1966 he married Cammy McCray of Great Bend. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Kansas State University ...
