Once Great Bend’s Legion Chiefs started scoring, they never stopped. The Chiefs swept Larned’s Legion baseball team 14-5 and 15-0 Saturday at the Great Bend Sports Complex.

GREAT BEND CHIEFS 14, LARNED 5 (G1) – The Chiefs had 15 baserunners in a 12-run fourth inning off pitchers Carson Smith and Brayden Lemuz that led to a run-rule victory.
Larned led 5-0. Lemuz scored on a second inning error. In a four-run third inning, Brayden Rupp singled home Mason Perez and Jordan Taylor. Shevin Martin’s triple scored Rupp and Mason Burris.
