BISON — Kathryn L. Miller, 90, a lifelong resident of the Bison, Kansas, area died June 28, 2018, in Wichita after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Kathryn was born in Otis, Kansas, to Fred, Sr., and Agnes (Funk) Jones at the family farm on March 10, 1928, where she was raised with her siblings. After attending college, Kathryn became a one-room schoolhouse teacher for 1st-8th grade students, teaching for 13 years.
