Area teams qualify athletes for state track

Macksville High School qualified in seven individual events and one relay for the Class 1A state track and field meet in Wichita on Friday and Saturday.
Macksville competed in Friday’s regional meet in Pretty Prairie.
Adam Oak raked in the most qualifying times with three events — 200-meter dash (23.27 seconds), 110 hurdles (15.03) and 300 hurdles (41.69). Derek Bevan qualified for both the discus and the shot put.
Jack Crotinger qualified for state in the 100 dash for Otis-Bison with a time of 11.64. The Cougars also qualified in the 4x100 relay. Annie Kraisinger, Hannah ...
