Golf tournament

The 3rd annual Kans for Kids Golf Tournament was another outstanding success for the organization. There were 24 teams and 96 golfers that participated in the tournament as they opened their hearts for four Barton County boys living with childhood cancer.

Aaron Fryberger, 14 and Dade Cannon, 7, both of Great Bend are in their third year of treatment in Kansas City for leukemia (ALL). Kaito Richter, 2, Great Bend is being treated in Wichita for a Ewing’s sarcoma. He recently underwent surgery to remove the tumor and will continue with two years of chemotherapy in Wichita.
