Three Great Bend teachers are named Master Teachers by Kansas Strong

Kansas Strong announces that Deena Smith, Katt Shelton and Traci Miller of Unified School District 428 have completed the comprehensive workshop and training schedule to be Master Teachers, and are experts in Kansas Strong’s "Fossils To Fuel" training module.

Beginning with the new school year, these Master Teachers will be teaching Kansas students about the science involved in oil and natural gas exploration, about the techniques Kansas’ independent oil and gas producers use to fuel America, and the importance of the oil and natural gas industries to the economy.
