Join the “Butterfly Quest”

Take part in a butterfly count and learn how to identify our local butterfly species at the Cheyenne Bottoms 2nd Annual Butterfly Quest, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on July 16 at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center.

Participants will review butterfly species found in our area, then leave to stalk the elusive creatures for an official North American Butterfly Association Count. The NABA County is in its 37th year and gathers information to track population trends.
