Barton County Sheriff After some arguing over what channel the Barton County Jail television should be on, one inmate allegedly removed the footrest from his wheelchair and battered another inmate with it, at 3:35 p.m. Thursday. One vehicle sideswiped another in the 1000 block of West Barton County Road at 7:24 p.m. Friday. Both vehicles had minor damage.
