A 39-year-old Alabama man was killed last Friday morning in a fiery two-vehicle accident in Stafford County, about 14 miles south of Great Bend. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Terry Johnson, of Oneonta, Ala., died when the Toyota Tacoma pickup he was driving collided with a semi-trailer carrying packages for UPS, at the intersection of U.S. 281 and K-19.
