WOODLAWN, TENN. — MSG (Ret.) Herman E. Cassity, 82, Woodlawn, Tenn., died Sept. 25 at his home. Born Dec. 10, 1927, in Bush City, he was the son of the late Wilmer and Esther Burlington Cassity. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Army, where he belonged to the 101st Airborne Division. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
