City council considers 2012 budget Monday night

An increase in the annual property tax mill levy will be considered when the Great Bend City Council discusses the 2012 budget in its budget hearing, set for a half hour before its regular Monday night meeting.
The budget hearing has been set for 7 p.m. with the regular council meeting to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the city building.
The council will consider a 2012 budget with a proposed mill levy of 43.778 mills, up from the 2011 levy of 42.331 mills and from the 2010 rate of 41.480 mills.
