BCC sets auditions for 2012 community musical, ‘L’il Abner’


Barton Community College’s Performing Arts Departments have announced auditions for the college’s spring musical, "L’il Abner," based on the book by Norman Panama and Melvin Frank and the characters created by Al Capp.

The auditions are set for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 and 29, in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

College students and community members are invited to audition. The cast calls for a large number of principal and secondary roles and a chorus. No appointment is necessary to participate in the auditions. However, each person auditioning needs to have 8-16 bars of a vocal selection ...
