Clara Bahr will celebrate her 100th birthday on Oct. 4 with a family picnic hosted by her children and families. She was born Oct. 4, 1911 in Barton County. She married Leonard Bahr. He died April 12, 1993. A resident of rural Olmitz, she is a homemaker. Her children are Patricia and Ervin McConnell of Hoisington, Luella and Tom Call of Rolla, Mo., Jenelda and Leo Moore of Valdez Ala., Rita Bahr of Jones, Okla., Frances Dietz of Russell, and the late Donald Bahr.
