Ellinwood Junior High Football

ELLINWOOD —The Ellinwood Middle School team rebounded from two road losses when they played at home on Tuesday Sept. 27 against the Dodge City Sacred Heart Cougars.

The team started out extremely fast taking an early 20-0 lead in the first quarter. Kaleb Schartz led the scoring and had the majority of the carries and yards in the first quarter to give the Eagles the early lead.

In the second quarter, the Cougars started to excecute thier short passing game and were able to score their first touchdown, while the Eagles added one more touchdown. The halftime score was 28-6 ...
