Lyons man charged with armed bank robbery

 

A Lyons man has been charged in federal court with armed bank robbery, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom announced.

Jacob W. Schrock, 27, is also charged with unlawful possession of a sawed-off shotgun and possession of a sawed-off shotgun in furtherance of bank robbery, all stemming from Sept. 13 when he allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank of Arlington in Reno County. His was one of several indictments handed down last week by a grand jury meeting in Topeka. Schrock initially was charged in a criminal complaint filed Sept. 14 in U.S. District Court in Wichita.
