Kindscher's Mule Barn to open in Hoisington

HOISINGTON —Kindscher’s Mule Barn, to be located in the old Hoisington Duckwall’s building, should be open March 1, 2012. It will offer hardware, and pet, agriculture and ranch items.

The plans are to have two full-time and three part-time employees, said Brian Kindscher, owner. He owns the same kind of store in Concordia, which will remain open.

He had driven through the area, and "it looked like a good opportunity," said Kindscher. "I knew Duckwall’s and the hardware store were closing. Hoisington is a pretty good sized town."
