Rhonda Gayle Simmons 1952-2011

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Rhonda Gayle Simmons was born May 12, 1952 in Great Bend, to Dwayne and Janis Deckert. She was raised on the family farm northwest of Pawnee Rock, and attended Pawnee Rock Schools, graduating in 1970. Rhonda lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. for the past 15 years and was owner/operator of Vintage Vaults Wine Storage, a company she created and incorporated with her interior decorating talents. She also was an excellent cook and could entertain and feed any number of guests. She attended Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Rhonda had been in poor health for three years and died of pneumonia on Oct. 22.
She is survived by her parents; a sister Sondra and husband Mark Collins of Bolivar, Mo.; and nieces Libby Foster and Lindsey VanLeeuwen.
After cremation, services will be held at a later date in Kansas.
