Support Buddy Poppy Days

Dear Editor,
Morrison-McFadden Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 and its Ladies Auxiliary will observe their annual Buddy Poppy Days, Nov. 6-12.
The sale of Buddy Poppies by the VFW has been officially recognized and endorsed by governmental leaders since 1922 as a way to fulfill the organization’s motto, “honor the dead by helping the living.”
The VFW Buddy Poppies are assembled by disabled veterans and are used exclusively for the benefit of disabled and needy veterans and widows and orphans of deceased veterans.
