Red ribbon week at EGS

ELLINWOOD —Ellinwood Grade School has just completed another very successful and fun week in observance of Red Ribbon Week. Guidance lessons over the past month have focused on drug and alcohol prevention. Besides learning the importance of being drug free, students had a good time with the theme days and winning prizes with their "Live Drug Free" wristbands last week. Monday was "Wear Red Day"; Tuesday, "Turn Your Back on Drugs Day" with students wearing their shirts backwards; Wednesday, "Our School Rocks Drug Free" day, with students dressing like a rock star or favorite musician; and Thursday was Life is ...
