Tips sought on home burglary

 

Crime Stoppers is seeking information about last week’s burglary at 3220 Lakin Ave. in Great Bend.

Sometime between 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 2 and 7:50 a.m. on Nov. 3, the back door to the residence was pried open and tree trimming equipment, four guns, two laptop computers and some jewelry were stolen. Police Chief Dean Akings reports loss was in excess of $6,500.

Anyone with information about this crime, or any crime, is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Barton County and Great Bend to leave an anonymous tip. The telephone number is 792-1300 ...
