Hoisington to see slight sewer rate increase in 2012

HOISINGTON — Hoisington residents will see a slight increase in sewer rates with January bills. The Hoisington City Council adopted the increase at its regular meeting on Monday after budget reviews last summer.

In the city limits, the minimum charge will go up to $6.20 if water is on with no usage. The usage fee per 1,000 gallons will be $2.45, up from $2.25 per gallon.
