Start-Up Kansas funding awarded to business

HOISINGTON — Hoisington Main Street Inc. was awarded $45,000 through the StartUp Kansas program from Network Kansas. StartUp Kansas, launched in August of 2006, which provides funding for startups and expansions of existing businesses in rural and distressed Kansas communities in the form of matching grants and unsecured loans.

HMSI applied to StartUp Kansas for funding to match the Incentive Without Walls loan of $20,000 and HMSI Revolving Fund loan of $10,000 that were provided to Kindscher’s Mule Barn. StartUp Kansas awarded HMSI $45,000 that will also be loaned to Kindscher’s Mule Barn. This three-part ...
