Coach Johnson resigns from USD 431

HOISINGTON — Hoisington school district volleyball coach Tina Johnson submitted her resignation from her position with the school, and the USD 431 Board of Education accepted that resignation on Monday night at its regular board meeting.

Johnson was placed on administrative leave from all duties in November. Superintendent Bill Lowry had no comment for the reason she was suspended.

"There was never any criminal investigation," Lowry did say. "This ends her suspension. This ends the investigation."
Johnson was also the physical education teacher for fifth through ninth grade. Lowry said she will have no duties for the district for the remainder ...
