Otis-Bison’s Tammen ties classic record in girls’ fourth-place game

LARNED — The Otis-Bison High School girls’ basketball team fell to Kinsley to finish in fourth place at the Keady Basketball Classic on Saturday.
Janel Tammen led the Lady Cougars (1-3) with a career-high 28 points, tying the classic record for most points scored in a single girls game held by Audra Binford of Haviland, who set the record in 2004 and tied it in 2005, along with Imelda Meza of Lewis, who tied the record in 2004, and Smantha Horacek of Hanston, who tied the record in 2005.
