Lady Cardinals jump ahead in first half to beat Otis-Bison

LARNED — The Hoisington High School girls’ basketball team beat Otis-Bison 40-30 in a semifinal game of the Keady Basketball Classic on Friday night.
The Lady Cardinals jumped ahead to a 21-4 lead after the first half.
“I thought the first quarter and halfway through the second quarter, we played really well,” Hoisington head coach Mandy Mason said. “I thought that defensively, we were getting into some trouble. We got some traps. We got some steals. They were in a zone and we executed our offense really well, and when they switched to zone, we struggled executing our offense.”
