American State Bank hosts Mitten Tree event

American State Bank believes Christmas is a time for sharing. So, the bank sponsored its seventh-annual Mitten Tree event. 
Bank officials asked the community to help decorate the Mitten Tree located in the bank’s lobbies at 1321 Main Street and 725 McKinley Street in Great Bend from Nov. 25 through Dec. 14. The donations of new hats, gloves, scarves, coats and mittens will be distributed through the United Way of Central Kansas to be given to local families. 
Both of American State Bank’s trees were full .
