Snow on I-70 causes injury accidents

 

Kansas Highway Patrol responded to three injury accidents Thursday on Interstate 70.

The first accident occurred at 4:25 a.m. in Trego County, 1.5 miles east of Collier. Lauren Higginbotham, 24, of Farmington, N.M., was eastbound in a 2008 Ford truck and lost control on icy roads. The truck entered the south ditch and rolled approximately 1.5 times. The driver was taken to WaKeeney Hospital.
