Lady Cards advance to 6-1 overall

HOISINGTON — Tied at 20 at halftime, the Hoisington High School girls’ basketball team outscored Central Plains 24-14 in the second half to win on Tuesday night.
The Lady Cardinals are 6-1 this season with their only loss coming in the season opener at Central Plains. They were led by Mallory Flagor, who scored 17 points.
Jennifer Hitschmann led the Lady Oilers (4-2) with 14 points.
Central Plains travels to Macksville on Friday night.
Hoisington’s next game is Jan. 13 against Ellinwood.
