Cardinals beat Minneapolis in championship game

HOISINGTON — It seems likely that the Hoisington High School boys' basketball team remembered what happened last year in the Hoisington Winter Jam championship game.

Last year, the Cardinals met Minneapolis, which was then ranked No. 2 in Class 3A in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll, and lost 53-46.

This time around, Hoisington took care of business and won the championship game 49-37.
