SJS Governor’s Award presented at weekend Mass

Following Sunday’s 8 a.m. Mass on Jan. 29th, St. Joseph’s teachers were invited literally in front of God and the Parish front and center to receive the special honor of the 2010-2011 Governor’s Award. This is the second time in SJS school history this award has been earned. In order to receive the award, SJS had to meet the following requirements: Must have achieved Standard of Excellence in both reading and math. Must have made Adequate Yearly Progress in both reading & math and attendance. Must have been in top 5% of schools ...
